Frequently Asked Questions about Roofing
1.What does a new roof or re-roof cost?
This is probably one of our most common questions. And the answer is, it depends. It depends on the material you select and the size of your home. A new roof can start anywhere from $2,000 and cost as much as $30,000. We have upfront pricing and no hidden fees. So youll never see an unexpected bill from Terrance McKeever. Only what you agreed to.
2.Do you offer insurance certifications for your roofs?
3.What types of roofs do you install?
Virtually any type you can think of. Everything from commercial flat roofs on 20 story buildings to gable roofs on single bedroom homes.
4.What type of roofing material do you use on your roofs?
All types as long as the material manufacturer offers a warranty and Terrance McKeever approves of the roofing system.
Most common types we install:
Tile: barrel and flat
Metal: aluminum, steel and tin
Tar and Gravel
5.How long does the average roof take?
Residential homes take about 2 to 4 days from tear off to completion on a reroof, if the weather cooperates. But if rain is even a possibility, were ready to cover your roof well before a cloud even approaches.
6.What is the quality of your material?
We use only the best materials from national and international brands with long standing reputations.
7.How long will my new roof last?
Depends on whether your roof is tile, metal, rubber, or shingle.
Tile lasts about 30 years when installed by Terrance McKeever because we use a 3 layered system.
Shingle roofs last about 20 years when installed with Peel and Stick SWR barrier.
Metal roofs can last anywhere from 30 to 40 years depending on the weather in your area and the installation.
8.If I have a shingle roof, can I get a tile roof?
Unfortunately, no. Before your home was built the architect designed your roofing system (trusses and plywood) to match the covering material. The plywood and trusses are too weak to hold the weight of a tile roof. However, if you have a tile roof, you can have a shingle roof.
9.What types of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard.
